Neil stag night 1 Neil stag night 2 - requires the free program Adope The invitations where printed out and glued into the manor house's invitation booklet. We had our monogram embroidered on handkerchief for our parents. We had two diffierent ones made: a female and a male size and it was made by Textilbroderiet. We gave it to our family when we had diner together Friday.
The plan for the Wedding Day where:
Order of service / Salmehæfte was made with translations for the danish/english side since the cermony was a mix of danish and english. The priest made a very nice and personal speech . Our song was presented as a surprise for Neil from Tina as a duet sung by Camilla Hyttel and Jens Warmløse Jensen. Thank you all for your thoughtfulness 1/2. We tried to say a little thank you to all in church be giving them all a little bag with rise and a thank you card. The thought was first that all in church should have a little angel made of soap with them home . But it was too big a job. Therefore all got the angel on the cards 2/2with the rise instead. The cards was printed on both sides in colour and laminated and then sat on the small bags of rise. After the cermony we were happy to see that all Cecilie's mom's family where outside the church. Tina, Neil and Cecilie where picked up by a beautiful Ford Mustang '65 Convertible in Crème yellow. That drove us to Gl. Vraa Slot where the party where held.
4.30-5.30 pm Surprise for the guests The thoughts behind this surprise from Tina: A wedding that adorns the altar with the brilliance of tartan and the splendour of the bagpipe is guaranteed to linger in the memory of every bride, groom, and honoured guest for years to come. That was the idea behind this surprise from Tina, when she asked William James McLaughlin (Billy)to come and play and dance with us. Billy was hired through Mac Y A/S. (A Danish site about Billy)
Billy med fuld musik ind på gårdspladsen. Han spillede sækkepibespil i skotsk "uniform". Billy talte engelsk under hele forløbet, og alle melodier var skotske.
6.00 pm Dinner Neil welcomed all: thank you all for coming. Presenting the toastmasters Ole and Bjarne. The toastmasters introduced all and kept the order of the speeches in very good manors. Toastmaster plan Neil's speech. Neil gave Tina a Campbell Pin to welcome her into the Clan. Read more about the Campbell Clan history. By the way; you could also see Neil's brother Donald wearing the Campbell Tartan Kilt in church. Neil's dad Jim held a speech. Tina's mom Lone held a speech Tina's speech / Tinas tale held on English but with Danish translations on writing for whose who wanted one. The friends Lene, Nina and Dorthe made a lovely fairytale. Neil's friend John held a speech. Tina's oldest friend Line held a speech. Tina's God Father Arie held a speech. Some of Neil's family sang two traditionally songs: "The Lewis Bridal song" and "Bonnie Mary O' Argyle" (this link has loud music) . We almost didn't have time for the Bridal dance because of all the talk, food, greetings and lovely presents. But in the end we succeeded. 1.00 am Music stoped but the party went on unto around 4 am where Neil and Tina also went to bed. Music for the party was played by Jens Varmløse. Chronicle made for the guest at the party 1 2 3 4 These were made in A4 size and printed in colour into a boklet. Unfortunately we didn't have the possibility to give them away ourself. They where laying there in church for our guests to take themselves. So we don'tknow wheater people got them or could use them :-( To bad since it was a huge and expensive job to make them. Pratical tasks ideas from an official site For all inviteted to our wedding: If there for example is a guest you would like to have contact with you, you're welcome to write a greeting in our guest book so other guests can find you through your email.
